She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Thompson and Marie Thompson (McDowell); her husband Leland Nye; her son Robert Nye (Joyce); her brother Henry Thompson; her grandson Justin; her great grandchild Dawson; and her nephew David.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Phillips (Terry) of Argyle, Devin Juel (Teleasha Corns) of Argyle and Gary Nye (Deana) of Keokuk, Iowa; and her siblings, Gary Thompson (Dixie Lestina) of Argyle and Karen Wright (Don) of Keokuk, Iowa. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.
