He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel DeKok and Irene DeKok (DeYoung); his sister Margene "Midge" (Donald Andringa); and his nephews, Mike Andringa and Brent DeKok.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve, Jeff and Scott; his wife Barbara Kaiser; his daughters, Diana DeKok, Michelle DeKok and Angie DeKok; his grandchildren, Taylor and Sintija DeKok; his children, Will, Laura DeKok, Olivia, Alec Dodds, Christina, Danial Moyer, Ellie, Nick Punchard, Noah, Nathalie DeKok, Jarron Clark, Kellen DeKok and Emma DeKok; his great grandchildren, David, Kaia, Noah Roy, Samuel, Violet and Eleanor; and his brother Rev. Donald (Susan DeKok). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
