We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2021, at the age of 96, Betty B. Johnson of Archer, Iowa, born in Remsen, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harm Seggerman and Grace Seggerman (Luitjens); her brother Bob Seggerman; her husband Marvin Johnson; and her siblings, Anna, Alma, Herman, Harm, Gertrude, Gloria, Eilert, Carolyn, Dorothy and Bill.
She is survived by: her children, Neil Johnson (Susan) of Paullina, Lynn Johnson-Blake (Don Blake) of Spirit Lake, Dean Johnson (Lissa) of Hospers and Lisa Winckler (Merlin) of Collinsville, VA.; her grandchildren, Erik Johnson of Elk Point, SD, Alec Johnson (Suzanne) of Vermillion, SD, Carl Blake (Sarah Patchett) of Gilbert, AZ, Karin Hennessy (Michael) of Brooklyn, NY, Emily Bonnema (Benjamin) of Elk Point, SD, Lukas Johnson of Sheldon, IA and Ava Winckler of Chicago, IL.; and her great grandchildren, Victoria, Sophia, Hayes, Georgia, Jack Johnson, Chloe, Stella, Violet Bonnema, Hugo, Atlas and Leif Hennessy. She is also survived by her sisters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Betty was also involved with the American Cancer Society and United Methodist Women.
