She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Schmitz and Mayme Schmitz (Hugeback); her husband Howard Berger; her son Douglas; her siblings, Florentine Rupiper (Leonard), Agnes Rupiper (Leonard), Lawrence Schmitz (Florence), Marie Speyer (Albert), Lewis Schmitz (Bonnie), Leo Schmitz (Alice) and Bertilla "Tootie" Andersen (Leon); and her siblings-in-law, Jerry Berger and Shirley Berger.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Anne Berger of Carroll; her daughter-in-law Jalene Berger; her grandchildren, Alder, Sarah, Adrian and Aaron; and her great grandchildren, Runa, Hazel, Arabella and Douglas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
