He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph H. Berg and Christine Berg (Leiting); his brothers, Robert Berg, Don Berg (Ardella), Joseph Dean Berg and Ron Berg (Lorna); his siblings-in-law, Jerry Goecke, Edwin Irlbeck (Marijane), Larry Irlbeck, Elmer Irlbeck, Alice Steinkamp and Lavon Irlbeck; and his parents-in-law, Albert and Elizabeth Irlbeck.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Irlbeck of Arcadia; his children, Carol Schrader (Michael) of Willmar, MN, Kevin of Westside, Donna of St. Joseph, MO and Brian of Mason City, IA; his granddaughter Melissa Farris (Sean) of St. Joseph, MO; his stepgrandson Michael Schrader, Jr. of Baltimore, MD; his siblings, Norma Goecke of Carroll, Vern Berg (Pat) of Lee's Summit, MO, Helen Sundrup (Ron) of Arcadia and Jim Berg (Paulette) of Arcadia; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Berg of Arcadia, Joyce Irlbeck of Westside, Linda Irlbeck of Westside, Luvern Steinkamp of Adams, MN and Allen Irlbeck (Sue) of Avoca. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
