It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Mark Liechti of Arcadia, Iowa, born in Carroll, Iowa, who passed away on September 15, 2022, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Mac" Liechti and Ruth Liechti (Obman); his mother-in-law Margaret Schroeder; his brother-in-law Danny Schroeder; and his nephew Daniel Davey.
He is survived by: his brother Trucking; his wife Julie Schroeder of Arcadia; his daughter Nicole Liechti of Dakota Dunes, SD; his brothers, John Liechti (Kristy) of Lake View and Roger Liechti (Beth) of Vail; his father-in-law Stan "Spike" Schroeder of Arcadia; his sister-in-law Tamie Davey (John) of Dakota Dunes, SD; and his aunts, Helen Leiting of Arcadia and Jeanett Liechti of Arcadia. He is also survived by one niece, six nephews, ten great-nieces and nephews, several cousins, and many good friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Arcadia Cemetery Association.
