She was predeceased by: her parents, Alois Purschke and Hedwig Purschke (Habranke); her husband John; and her siblings-in-law, Holger Holm, Charles Merfeld, Fred Bakker, Edward Heuer, Herman Bakker, Johanna Bakker and Fern Bakker.
She is survived by: her brother Alois Purschke of Switzerland; and her siblings-in-law, Marlyn Bakker (Renate) of Cedar Falls, Alice Holm of Denver, Grace Merfeld, Helen Bakker of Aplington and Okelene Heuer of Allison. She is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews.
