He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Pamela Bantle (John) of St. Paul, Minn., Dean Brouwer (Irene) of Waukesha, Wis., Elaine Julstrom (James) of Johnston, Iowa and Mark Brouwer (Minn) of Minneapolis; his grandchildren, Anne Bantle (Andrew Thompson) of Minneapolis, Laura Bantle (Jonathan Fischer) of St. Paul, Alex Bantle of St. Paul, William Julstrom of Iowa City, Sophia Brouwer of Waukesha and Henrik Brouwer of Minneapolis; his great grandchild Haakon Thompson of Minneapolis; his sister-in-law Kathryn Brouwer of Aplington; his wife Marian; his parents, Dick Brouwer and Gretje Brouwer (Gertie); his siblings, Dena Rotgers (John), Gertrude Greenfield (Herman), Carl Brouwer (Jessie), Harold Brouwer and Mildred Ulfers (Harvey, Sr.); his parents-in-law, William "W. J." and Foskelina "Lena" Best; and his brothers-in-law, Mervin Best (Verna) and Howard Best (June). He was also cherished by many relatives and dear friends.
