He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gearhart and LuRetha Gearhart; his wife Imogene Cornelison; his brothers, Thomas, Edward, Russell and Gerald; his siblings-in-law, Layman, Rex, Wilma, Helen, Jean and Donna; and his son-in-law William Maher (Paula).
He is survived by: his former wife Phyllis Barrett; his children, Dan Bucklin (Andi) and Paula Maher; and his stepchildren, Vanessa Tisler (David), Prairie, April Schumacher (Patrick), Alyssa Gifford and Greg Gifford.
