Robert Lee Boelman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lee Boelman (Aplington, Iowa), born in Pleasant Valley, Iowa, who passed away on July 1, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Hyla Thompson Rash; his siblings, Tillie Johnson (Fred), Folkert Boelman (Shirley), Helen Graham (John), Pearl Kinrade (Al), George Boelman and Ben Boelman, Jr.; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Vigars and Darwyn Lumley.
He is survived by: his sons, David of Urbandale and Curtis of Urbandale; his grandson Peter Odia (Madison) of Ankeny; his sisters, Leona Vigars of Rochester and Lois Lumley of Vista, California; his sister-in-law Marge Boelman of Placentia, California; and also, Craig of Denver and Steve of Clutier. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
