Richard Jay Boger Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 15, 2024, at the age of 86, Richard Jay Boger of Aplington, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Boger and Hazel Boger (Hein); his siblings, Virgil Boger, Norma Ehrig (Zip), Virginia Skow (Rich), Donald Boger (Delores) and Myron Boger (Georgia); his brother-in-law Gerald Luppen; and his sweet yorkie Pinsey.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma May Minikus; his daughters, Peggy Luck (Monte) of Stout, Lynette Uhlenhopp (Lance) of Aplington, Cindy Luck (Dana) of Stout, Kathy Hagedorn (Shawn) of Janesville and Susan Rand (Russell) of Wellsburg; his sister Sharon Luppen of Rock Island, Illinois; and his yorkie Bubba. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home (1825 W 12th St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
