He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Sr. Schipper and Lena Schipper (Johnson); and his siblings, Kate Aalderks, Anna Marks, Helena Eilderts, Grace Huisman, Hattie Behrends, George, John, Andrew, Henry, Harvey and Paul Schipper.

He is survived by: his son Brad (Aplington); his wife Dorothy Schipper of Aplington; his children, Michael Schipper (Suzy) of Prior Lake, Brenda Folken (Daryl) of Aplington and Bradley Schipper (Ann) of Valley, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Grant, Brandon, Ryan Schipper, Emily Mulder (Aaron), Erin Folken (Matthew Klahsen), Jared (Megan), Grace and Laney Schipper; and his siblings-in-law, Irma Schipper of Parkersburg, Darlene Spears (Eugene) of Waterloo and Kenneth Renken (Bonnie) of Waverly.

Memorials may be directed to the family and will be donated to Falcon H.O.P.E - Feed My Starving Children.
