With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lee Meyer (Aplington, Iowa), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on August 27, 2018 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Alfred Meyer and Adeline Meyer (Schuck); his wives, Catherine (George) and Shary of New Hartford; his children, Wendy Gardner of Millington, TN, Shary Louise (Clark Ebert) of Riceville, IA and Chris (Staci Meyer) of Cedar Falls, IA; his grandchildren, Amanda Gardner, Allysa Gardner, Aidan, Asher and Arya Ebert; and his sister Nora (Paul Frederick) of Capistrano Beach, CA..

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be used for future scholarships in mechanic or welding field.
