He was predeceased by: his mother Jennie Mae Rewerts (Hook); his granddaughter Alisha Davis; his father Melvin Rewerts; and his brother Ervin Rewerts. He is survived by: his wife Mildred Irene Aswegan of Aplington; his children, Darcy Rewerts (Kathy) of Des Moines, Darwin Rewerts of Iowa Falls, Lonnie Rewerts (Janelle) of Wellsburg and Audrey Bravener (Craig) of Fredericksburg, Iowa; and his sisters-in-law, Marcella Rewerts of Aplington, Darlene Brower (Bob) and Janet Aswegan of Grundy Center. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
