He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Burman and Florence Burman (Weber); his half-sister Maxine Newton (Charles); his nephew Michael Newton; and his sister Doris Halls.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Burman of Aplington, Iowa; his sons, Brad Burman of Polk City and Brock Burman of Oxford, Wisconsin; and his grandchildren, Colten and Ian Burman.
