It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Klahsen (Aplington, Iowa), who passed away on June 2, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Klaas Klahsen and Pearl Klahsen (Frey); his wife Francine; his siblings-in-law, Patty Klahsen, Eunice Neil, Leora Neil, Reva Billerbeck, Myrne Billerbeck, David Neil and Donald Billerbeck; and his son-in-law David Roth.
He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Feldman (Troy) of Greene and Sue (Bob Moran); his grandchildren, Amanda Kehe (Chris) of Aurora, Alisa Roth, Lisa Feldman of Rochester, John Roth of Cedar Falls, Austin Roth of Cedar Rapids and Jared Feldman of Greene; his great grandchildren, Kenzie Kehe and Kellan Kehe of Aurora; his brothers, Bill Klahsen (Shirley) of Aplington and Hank Klahsen of Aplington; and his sisters-in-law, Frances Lorenzen (Russell) of Clear Lake, Iowa and Ann Rae Billerbeck of Reinbeck. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.
