We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2024, at the age of 74, Douglas Ray Mulder of Aplington, Iowa, born in Waterloo, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, DeWitt Mulder and Arlene Mulder (Ackerson); his stepmother Nancy Mulder; and his brother-in-law Harry Backer. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Backer of Aplington, IA; his sons, Michael Mulder (Beth) of Honey Creek, IA and Jeremy Mulder (Cheryl) of Parkersburg, IA; and his siblings, Sally McEntire, Jackie Prior, Dennis Mulder (Betty Ann), Kevan Mulder and Tim Mulder (Colette). He is also survived by 8 granddaughters; 8 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to St. Jude or Jehovah's Witnesses.
