He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wesley and Lillian Rosalie Peters (Lindaman); his wife Miriam Ruth Heitland; his granddaughter Lillian Jade Peters; his sisters, Barbara White (Tom) and Jenny Lou Peters; and his sister-in-law Audrey Peters.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Buseman (Daniel) of Waterloo, Randall Peters (Gail) of Wellsburg and Harlan Peters of Aplington; his grandchildren, Mandy McCord (Will), Cassie Peters, David Buseman (Praewwanid), Rebecca Buseman and Justin Peters (Veronica); his great grandchildren, Mersadies, Morgan, George, Charlotte, Olivia, Kal and Cooper; and his brother William Stewart Peters of Aplington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to Bethel Reformed Church, Cedar Valley Hospice or the Northeast Iowa Food Bank.
