With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Audrey Heitland (Aplington, Iowa), who passed away on March 24, 2019 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin; her brother James Klahsen; and her brother-in-law Bill Heffelmeier. She is survived by: her children, Joyce Smith (John) of New Hartford, Les Heitland (Deb) of Sun City and Arthur Heitland (Julie) of Postville, Iowa; her grandchildren, Sarah Adolphs (Travis), Jenny Cavanagh (Tom), Jeff Smith (Brianna), Kristen Stephenson (Eric), Michelle Garcia (Jorge), Traci Bruns (Dave), Philip Heitland and Ben Heitland (Kallie); her siblings, Virgil Klahsen (Jackie) of Aplington, Irvin Klahsen (Marlene) of Ackley, Carol Feikes (Louie) of Ackley, Esther Heffelmeier of Ackley, Elaine Conkel (Steve Mohr) of Ankeny and Linda Hankes (Dennis) of Kesley, Iowa; and her sister-in-law Barbara Heitland of Parkersburg, Iowa. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
