She is survived by: her children, Patty Pierick of Sioux City, IA, Sue Gooch (Mike) of Mingo, IA, Dr. Camilla Frederick (Bill) of Illinois City, IL, Donna Christophersen of Danbury, IA, Mary Gates (Joe) of Denver, CO, Jack Pierick (Helen) of Cameron, MO, Paul Pierick of Whiting, IA, Joe Pierick (Trudy) of Iowa City, IA, Larry Pierick (Linda) of Mingo, IA, Frank Pierick (Jill) of Whiting, IA and Kathi Jo Knobloch (Tadd) of Hartley, IA; her daughter-in-law Becky Smizer (Tracy) of Anthon, IA.; her siblings, Tom Martens (MaryEllen), George Martens (Pat), Walter Martens (Wanda), Pat Martens (Donna), Larry Martens, Roger Martens and Mamie Joy (Don); her sister-in-law Barb Martens; and also Kim Pope. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, 21 step great-grandchildren and 2 step great-great-grandchildren.
