Enid L. Petersen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Enid L. Petersen of Anthon, Iowa, who passed away on October 31, 2024 at the age of 100. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Enid L. Petersen to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Neal and Blanche Neal (Schmidt); her husband Robert Petersen; and her siblings, Clair Neal (Maxine), Lucille (Harold Ellis), Louise Thorson (Melvin), Edith Neal and Virginia Neal.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Petersen (Priscilla) of Independence, Alan Petersen (AJ) of Anthon and Lori Gates (Mitch) of Albuquerque; and her grandchildren, Alex Petersen of Independence, April Petersen of Essex Junction, Jeremy Petersen of Hinesville, Georgia, Robert Petersen of West Lafayette, Emily Gates and Ian Gates of Layton, Utah. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the Armstrong - Van Houten Funeral Homes - Anthon (402 E Brady St, Anthon, IA 51004). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church - Midway (2326 Story Ave, Battle Creek, IA 51006).
Memorial donations will be given to the Robert & Enid Petersen Scholarship Fund supporting local high school students.
