He is survived by: his wife Ann O'Hern; his children, Amy of Ankeny and Billy (Ashley) of Newton; his granddaughter Brinlee; his brother Brian (Sheri) of Grimes; and his siblings-in-law, Maureen Fitzgerald (Mike) of Fort Dodge, Rita Berkemann of Johnston, Mick O'Hern (Sheila) of Clare, Ron O'Hern (Lea) of Sioux City, Tom O'Hern (Cheryl) of Barnum, Terry O'Hern (Becky) of Johnston and Dan O'Hern (Diane) of Eagle Grove. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
