He is survived by: his former wife Cynthia Fitch; his wife Franceine Urness of Perry, IA; his sons, John Urness (Kara) of Ankeny, IA, Michael Urness (Shannon) of Pleasantville, IA, Laine Teply of Perry, IA and Jamey Teply (Leah) of Bondurant, IA; his grandchildren, Haley, Ty, Wriglee, Ryne, Quinlan and Bennett; and his sisters, Carol Eckles-Harding (Bob) of Ankeny, IA and Maria Wilkins (Chuck) of Carney, IA..
