It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgelene Helen Pickard of Ankeny, Iowa, who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Shogren and Alta Shogren; her husbands, Dean DeVoss and George Pickard; her sisters, Phyllis Isaacson, Lois Casavant and Annie Shogren; and her son-in-law Steve Czodli.
She is survived by: her children, Marty DeVoss, Julie DeVoss Czodli and Jacque Penfold (Steve); her grandchildren, Jordin Gordon (Josh), Jeremy and Erik Penfold; and her great grandchildren, Taelin, Cecelia, Forrest, Max and Joelle Gordon.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's foundation.
