She was predeceased by: her parents, Pat Cahill and Jim Cahill. She is survived by: her children, Meredith Lamberti (Tim Lenox) and Domenic Lamberti (Eloise Hyman); and her siblings, Shelley Starr, Scott Cahill (Amber) and Steven Cahill. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Flowers may be sent to Ankeny Memorial Funeral Home or contributions may be made in Shannon's name to the Animal Rescue League.
