He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Melvin Porter and Lois Porter (Nessler); and his grandchildren, Lily, Porter Cook (Megan), Addyson, Luke, Isabella, Jude, Clare, Ava, Magdalene, Katie Jo, Andrew, Mandy Porter of Wichita, Avery, Cora, Logan Scott, Katelyn and Mark Pniak of Rockford.
