He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Anderson and Lois Anderson; and his stepfather John Birkestrand. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Long; his children, Alissa Jones (Kevin) and Mathew Anderson (Lauren); his grandchildren, Lilly, Jack and Presley; his brothers, Roger Anderson and Rick Anderson (Gloria); and his siblings-in-law, Kenny Long (Janeil) and Sue Anderson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the family for various charities and future memorials in Ron's name.
