Robert A. Yaap Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert A. Yaap of Ankeny, Iowa, born in Macomb, Illinois, who passed away on February 18, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Yaap and Edna Lamb Yaap; his sister Mary Alice Cleve; and his brother-in-law Steve Bowers. He is survived by: his daughters, Laurie Yaap Sanders (Vince) of Ankeny and Tricia Yaap of Ankeny, Iowa; his grandsons, Benjamin Sanders and Evan Sanders; his sisters, Kathryn Yaap Bowers of Macomb and Barbara Yaap Rose (Carmen) of Macomb; his nieces and nephews, Kris Lowderman (Brent), Casey Hiatt (Seth), Heide Catrino, Scott Cleve and Teddy Cleve; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Morgan Lowderman, Blake Lowderman (Caley Rumler), Cameron Cleve and Asher Hiatt.
