He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellen Tollakson (Male) and Thomas Tollakson; his wife Iola Tollakson (Hunt); and his sisters, Betty Hunt (James) and Margaret Anderson (Raymond).
He is survived by: his children, Rick Tollakson (Rachel Flint), Candace Tollakson (Ed Kelly), Elizabeth Jensen (Jeff) and Ginger Dinsmore (Mike). He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
