Robert E. Boatman Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert E. Boatman (Ankeny, Iowa), born in Barnes City, Iowa, who passed away on January 18, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Ray" Boatman and Opal "Polly" Armstrong Boatman; and his sister Joan Watts. He is survived by: his wife Wilma June Oldaker of Ankeny; his children, Linda Van Nostrand (Ned) of Keosauqua, Iowa and Scott Boatman of Stanton, Iowa; his grandchildren, Nate Johnson of Omaha, Kyle Johnson of Ankeny and Kristine Webb (Brandon) of Lead; and his brother Dallas Boatman (Vernadine) of McMinnville, Oregon. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
