He is survived by: his brother Kenny; his children, Patricia Strah (Ron) of Ankeny, IA, Steven Downard (Jennifer) of Plato, David Downard (Catherine) of Auburndale and Julie Mangels (Eric) of Ankeny, IA; and his great grandchild Daisy Mae. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
