He was predeceased by: his parents, Justin Lowenberg and Julia Lowenberg (Kiplinger) of Swaledale; his siblings, Marvel, Mary, Sylvester, Leonard, Melvin, Kenny, Philip, Richard, Evelyn and Pat; his grandson Anthony; and his son-in-law Roy Cisco.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred "Millie" of Ankeny; his children, Cathy Korthas (Kent), Dan Lowenberg (Nancey), Doug Lowenberg (Melody), Dennis Lowenberg (Janyne) and Pamela Cisco; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Kylie, Kim, Lauren, Spencer, Shane, Jill and Andrew. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (1207 3rd St NE, Belmond, IA 50421). A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
