She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Doc Finley and Alice Finley; her husband Donald Varnum (Don); her children, Susan Albaugh (Dennis), Rick Tomlinson and Brian Tomlinson (Mitzie); and her stepchildren, Dan Varnum (Denise), Paul Varnum (Christy), LaVonne Flystad (Steve) and Kirsten Lane (Mike).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either UnityPoint Hospice or Easter Seals Iowa.
