She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Wright and Hazel Wright (Marshall); her son Robert J. Mason; and her brother Richard Wright. She is survived by: her former husband Robert D. Mason; her grandchildren, Jacob Mason (Tara) of Ankeny, Andrew Mason (Amber) of Burlington and Elizabeth Frisicaro (Ryan) of Burlington; her great grandchildren, Gavin, Cambri, Adelyn, Lachlan, Michael and Genevieve; and her siblings, Gene Wright of Upland, Bobby Wright (Linda) of Mission, Kansas and Cyndi Munson (Greg) of Bloomfield, Iowa. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established for the Des Moines County Humane Society.
