He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey J. Hunemuller and Wilamina "Minnie" Sophia Hunemuller (Suhr); and his wife Loretta Hunemuller (Merritt). He is survived by: his children, Joe Hunemuller (Sheila) of Polk City and Mary Ann Hunemuller; and his grandchildren, Sylena Blanchardof Ankeny, Josh Hunemuller (Kelly) of Des Moines, Eric Hunemuller of Ankeny, Alex Hunemuller (Chelsey) of Crivitz and Wis. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
