With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy O'Connor of Ankeny, Iowa, born in Grinnell, Iowa, who passed away on September 17, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marian Manetta (Russell) and James Franklin Page; her husband Lowell O'Connor; her siblings, Margo Vugrinovich, Bill Page and Marshall Page; her siblings-in-law, Frank O'Connor, Bernard O'Connor, Louis O'Connor, John Vugrinovich, Darlene O'Connor, Jean O'Connor and Mary Lou Page; her nephew David Page; and her niece Anne Luepke.
She is survived by: her children, Maureen Pena (Frank), Colleen Merkle (Randy), Kate O'Connor (Kari Roehr), Patrick O'Connor (Lisa), Michael O'Connor and Mary O'Connor; her grandchildren, Tiffany Sheldon (James), Bryan O'Connor, Courtney O'Connor (Anthony), Emily Merkle, Matthew Merkle, Molly Barten and Maggie Barten; and her great grandchildren, Gavin, Elliana, Micha and Iyla. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Hubbard Care Center, 403 South State Street, Hubbard, IA 50122, University of Iowa Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center/Melanoma Program, and/or My NESCO Health/NESCO Family Medical Clinic.
