He was predeceased by: his father Timothy Smith; and his sister Diana Corbett. He is survived by: his mother Rosemary Smith (Niemeyer); his wife Cathy; his children, Jacob Smith (Kerry) and Michaela Smith; his sister Donna Asauskas (Steve); and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Avery and Kaleb. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Wesley Life Hospice.
