Schaffer of Ankeny, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on March 17, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schaffer and Dorothy Schaffer (Smith); his sisters, Theresa Swift (Bob), Georgine Welter (Byron), Phyllis Sexton (Ray) and Nancy Getz; and his son-in-law Jim Wood Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Judy Brick; his children, Joanne Webb (Larry), Annette Delaney (Scott) and Joe Schaffer (Heather); his grandchildren, Abbie Martin, Ashley Stamey (Evan), Lindsey Corbin (Nick), Alex Delaney (Megan), Sam Schaffer, Addie Schaffer, Krista Webb and Justin Webb; and his great grandchildren, Ryne, Emmett, Eliana, Jack, Opal, Nola, Brycen and Ford. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
