He was predeceased by: his parents, Miriam Strothcamp and Adolph Strothcamp; his siblings-in-law, Mary Searcy of Virginia, Betty Tyler, Larry Burmaster and Dr Warren Tyler (Ty); and also, Wayne and Alpha Searcy.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Searcy of Ankeny; his children, Jeff Strothcamp (Kristin) of Ankeny and Janeen Earwood (Bill) of Carmel, Indiana; his grandchildren, John Strothcamp (Aleksandra) of Ankeny, Kyle Strothcamp of Ankeny, Mark Strothcamp of Ankeny, Kathy Baugh (Aaron) of Speedway and Julie Doyle (Jared) of Acton, Massachusetts; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Ava, Hudson, Hunter, Hazel, Deckard and Kieran; and his siblings-in-law, Peggy Burmaster of Overland Park and Bill Searcy (Louise). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren.
