With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxine Kay Christensen (Ankeny, Iowa), born in Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on August 20, 2019 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Florene and Cleo; and her sister Kathryn Abuhl (Wayne). She is survived by: her husband Jon Christensen; her son Shawn Damon; her siblings, Cleo Sondra Fuqua, Jolene Gordon (Jack) and Chris Fuqua; and her niece Judy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors or Taylor Hospice.
