She was predeceased by: her parents, James Smiley and Frances Smiley; her brothers, James Tamerlane Smiley and Jon Davis Smiley; her grandchildren, Jasmine Joy Overton, Regan Marie Walker and James Jon Hodgson, Jr.; her son-in-law John Wayne Overton; and her nephew Jeffrey Smiley.
She is survived by: her husband Delmer C. Husmann; and her children, Georgette Hodgson Overton of Boone, IA and James Jon Hodgson, Sr. (Kathryn) of Saipan. She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
