He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Lory and Mary Johnson Lory; his siblings, Fred, Herman and Linda; and his mother-in-law Wilma.
He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Taylor of Storm Lake; his sons, Daniel (Amy) and Michael (Kim); his grandchildren, Mickey and Kayla; his brother Tom (Oregon); and his sisters-in-law, Linda, Donna Miller and Shirley Laird. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Due to the COIVD-19 pandemic, a virtual service will be held for Lory at Ankeny First United Methodist Church in Ankeny, Iowa (206 SW Walnut St.) Following CDC guidelines.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to Mary in Lory's honor. The donations will be distributed to the charitable organizations Lory gave his time to advancing.
