Lester Fleming Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Lester Fleming of Ankeny, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Fleming and Dora Fleming (Rojohn). He is survived by: his former wife Phyllis McClelland; his wife Anna Morris (Blazek); and his children, Teresa Apple (Richard Zabell) of Corrales, N. M., Frances Konecny (Victor) of Port St, Steven Fleming (Susan) of Des Moines, Susan Harpe of Fairfax and Jeffrey Fleming (Megan) of Albuquerque, N. M.. He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Given the current Covid-19 health crisis, and with respect to all who knew Les, the family will not host a visitation and funeral service.
Given Les' background in Forestry, the family is asking for any donations be provided to the Iowa Arboretum to help with their Derecho damage.
