With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon Oliver Richardson (Ankeny, Iowa), who passed away on September 10, 2019 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Richardson and Leona Richardson; and his brothers, Clark and Conrad. He is survived by: his wife Karon McCormick; his daughters, Lorrie Hanifen, Lea Ann Vaughan (Paul) and Julie Howard (Robert); his grandchildren, Jordan Hanifen (Abby), Leigha Hanifen, Allison Hertz (John) and Hannah Howard; his great grandchildren, Jaylen Winbush, Olivia and Ellie Hanifen; and his sister Georgia Miller.

Memorials may be directed to the family for a future designation.
