He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Booton and Helen Booton (Snyder); and his niece Vicky Jackson. He is survived by: his siblings, Jeannine Hall of El Paso, Illinois and Alan Booton of Ames, Iowa; and his nieces and nephews, Cyndi Wilcox (Ray), Greg Booton (Diane), Lisa Hardman (Al), Pam Davis, Amy Ambrose and Kurt Jackson. He is also survived by numerous cousins, and other nieces and nephews.
