He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer Johnson (Rebecca) and Rebecca Johnson (Tullis); his wife Jeanette of Ankeny; his sons, Kendall Johnson (Melody) of Grimes, Iowa, Kevin Johnson (Joy) of Ankeny, Kerwin Johnson (Kelly) of Bonifay and Kenric Johnson (Brenda) of Alta, Iowa.; his grandchildren, Josiah, Karyn "Lenn", Lucas, Wesley, Camden, Katie, Zachary, Raquel and Austin; his sisters-in-law, Lorraine Mortensen, Evelyn Kludas and Eleda Wester; his father-in-law Elmer Wester (Mabel); his siblings-in-law, Burton Lundell (Eleanor), Roy Wester (Elsie), Vernon Wester (Ruby), Dale Wester (Patricia), Robert Mortensen, Merle Wester and Karl Kludas; his nephew Wayne Wester; and his niece Sarah Wester.
