We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2021, at the age of 77, Larry Cooper of Ankeny, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alford Cooper and Dencie Caldwell; and his siblings, Marvin Cooper, Jimmy Cooper and Mevelyn "Sandy" Gunn.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Cooper; his children, Alonzo Cooper (Debbie), Carlton of Oregon, Laurnice Reynolds, LaTanzia Reynolds, Casandra Small-Dean and Anthony Roberson; his stepchildren, Dana Douglas (Victoria), Elise Smith and Ronald Smith; his siblings, Myrtle Thomas (Henry), Jerry Cooper (Harlean) and Clydette Cox (Rudy); his stepfather Clyde Drain; his granddaughter KyLeigh Morales-Smith; and his friend Both. He is also survived by grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren along with a host of extended family.
