He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Hackman and Matilda Hackman (Brincks); his brother Donny Hackman (Kathy); and his parents-in-law, Kenneth and Helen Buhr.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Buhr of Ankeny; his sons, Scott Hackman (Missy) of New Hampton, Paul Hackman (Teresa) of New Hampton, Kyle Hackman (Megan) of Cedar Falls, Josh Culbertson (Crystal) of Nevada and Dan Culbertson (Anna) of Ankeny, IA; his grandchildren, Carly, Brooke, Sierra, Payton, John, Kinnick and Micah; his great grandchildren, Hayden and Evelyn; and his brother Roger Hackman (Glenda) of Marshalltown. He is also survived by his wife, his boys, his grandchildren, his great-grandchildren, his friends.
