She is survived by: her husband Ken; her sons, Ben'BJ'Backes (Jackie Sorenson), Chris Backes (Cari) and Tim Backes (Mina Fonze); her granddaughters, Ellie, Libbie and Estella Backes; her great grandchild Zula; her mother Gladys'Hap'Kint; and her brother Joe Kint (Polly Taylor).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Croix Hospice or Sunny View Care Center, honoring Kathy's legacy of love and generosity.
