Kathryn MacVey Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn MacVey (Ankeny, Iowa), who passed away on October 3, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Morrison and Fern Morrison; and her husband Curtis. She is survived by: her children, Karen MacVey (Regina), Karl MacVey (Debra), Laura Castiglione (Jimmy) and Kirk MacVey (Dorene); and her grandchildren, Chantelle Maxwell (Ben), Nicolle Brokaw (James), Eric Johnson, Michelle Hayes (Koby), Rylan MacVey (Alyssa) and Marisa Tiffany (Andrew). She is also survived by her nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Ankeny First United Methodist Church in her memory.
